Another classmate killed
Good morning, everyone. It’s about 3:30 AM here. And I was up about an hour ago. An early morning entry from me.
Anyway, one thing I forgot to mention at last night’s entry was the surprise earthquake drill in school. As usual, our class was the most disorganized. Heheh. It’s funny. My classmates, upon hearing the long, loud bell, screamed like girls and scrambled under their desks for a while then, in a stampede, raced to the doors in chaos (which we were not supposed to do, according to the rules). That was funny. But when the real earthquake comes, which is not unlikely because our classroom is right under a fault line!! And because our classroom is upon a ridge, we might be the first structure to either collapse, or erode with the mountain down the ridge’s slope.
Anyway. I’ve been having some weird dreams lately. Remember my entry where I talked about my dream wherein my classmates and I were a battalion in the battle field fighting the Abu Sayaff? Well, I dreamed again, somewhat the same thing.
The Philippines was under attack by Arab suicide bombers. And my classmates and I weren’t a battalion this time. We were just plain high school students. Civilians. I was walking with a classmate along Katipunan when we saw that the streets were deserted of cars because there were these long-haired, mustached Arab suicide bombers wearing bomb belts. And before they exploded themselves off, they warned all the pedestrians. And of course, I was scared out of my mind and I ran and ran as far as I could go. I hid at a jewelry shop in sight distance when the bomber exploded right where I left my classmate.
Man, why do I keep dreaming of my classmates dying at wars? An omen?
