My own studio
I’m exuberantly happy today. The exams were not that hard, and more than that…
I just got my IOmega HipZip digital audio player to work! Man, I had that since last year and I only got to use it now. And I’m happy about it.
Next. Well, after some tinkering, I was also finally able to get my PC microphone to work. And not only that, I just found out how to use the Windows Movie Maker installed in my computer. So, with my webcam, I used my microphone and recorded a short clip (with sound) and played with Movie Maker for a couple of minutes.
Then I remembered what I dreamed of at times. I wanted to become a film producer/director aside from being an actor. My enthusiasm came back so I immediately started downloading an illegal version of Adobe Premiere on the net :P. Then I remembered that when we were in Singapore, we did buy a video-adapter thing with a software that can transfer analog video into your computer. See?! Even with our old analog video camera, I can edit and make movies! I’m so happy!
We’ve often had films as our projects in school. With the tools I have, I can easily make movies at home without spending a FORTUNE at video-editing shops. They are unbelievable, they charge about 10 dollars an hour of editing. And a short movie can take about 5 hours. Imagine the cost! And now, I almost have my own studio in my own room!!
