Promblems
Yesterday night, we had anticipated mass at UP. As usual, I wasn’t able to concentrate. But this time, all hour, all I was thinking about was the prom and all its hereby sequential problems. After mass, on our way home, my parents asked me something…
“Victor, when is your prom?” my dad queried.
“Why? March 28.”
“Do you have a date?”
“No.”
And then started a long conversation about girls and dates and all that. They asked me to ask out one of my gradeschool friends. Then they asked me to hook up with a girl on one of our soirees. Agh! In the end, they told me, “Victor, if you don’t get yourself a date by this week, we’re going to arrange one for you. Ok?”
Agh! Conspiracy!!
Ok. Well at least now, I won’t feel ashamed to tell my parents that a Gold asked me out to their prom. Then I can find someone from OLGM. My second chance comes on the 31st. We have another soiree with AC. This time I’m deciding without prejudice against them or my classmates.
Conspiracy!!
