So the Arroyos are one of those land-owning feudal clans in Negros? Then they’re no different from the Benedictos, the Marcos cronies which brought down the sugar industry of Negros, one of the root causes of Negros’s heavy NPA guerilla activities. And to think Ignacio Arroyo is planning to run for the fifth congressional district of Negros Occidental. And see, a Cojuangco, the son of Danding, is actually the congressman of the fourth district. Argh, feudal lords continue to rule over many parts of this country. I don’t understand. People should know better and not elect landlords who make money out of them. How sad.

All these politics. Crazy.
