I just watched Spirited Away (Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi) from a DVD I borrowed from a classmate.

Amazing. Straight out of my indescribable nightmares. No, it’s not at all a horror movie. It’s just something personal. Many of my obscure dreams are similar to Chihiro’s adventure in this weird land of spirits and gods. Oh, and the yellowish tone of the entire picture plus its smooth-flowing musical score, added to that effect. Creepy. For being able to consistently stir my emotions, I give it a thumbs up. And simply because it’s really good, I give it another one. I guess it deserves all those best film and best animated film awards it got from around the globe.
