Sixteen
So, I turned sixteen yesterday. I’ve always disliked birthday attention and having my birthdays coincide with school days. But then, weirdo ako. Even though I dislike birthday attention, I sincerely appreciate it when people personally approach me to greet me. Thank you!! (Okay, that’s enough. It’s just a few hours till tomorrow and it will all be over, I kept telling myself).
The night before, we went to my mom’s hometown in Bulacan, whose fiesta day always coincides with the Thursday within the week of my birthday.
(Earlier, I was feeling insecure since a lot of my classmates who celebrated their 17th or 18th birthday these past months held gatherings in their houses and bars, etc.)

LORD, sana matanggap mo ang aking hiling na pumasa sa UPCAT. Pangarap ko talaga na maka pag aral sa UP. Alam ko Lord na imposible ito pero meron akong tiwala sa iyo Lord. Kahit mahirap ang examination sa UPCAT meron pa rin ako tiwala sa Iyo dahil Ikaw ang makapangyarihan sa lahat at wla nang iba. Kapag pumasa ako, ipapangako ko sa Iyo na pagbutihin ko ang aking pag aaral. Gagawin ko ito alang alng sa Iyo at sa aking pamilya. Mahirap lang kami at wla hanapbuhay. I take UPCAT dahil sabi nila na kapag ikaw nasa UP, maraming kang matutuhan. Maraming kang malalaman at magiging tanyag ka sa lahat.Alam ko na kapag graduate ka UP, hindi ka na maghihirap sa paghanap ng trabaho.I hope sana na makapasa ako UPCAT. Iyan talaga ang wish ko at wla nang iba. THANK YOU LORD.
bakit ako 16 ako grumaduate ng hs bakit classmates mo 17 and 18? that’s old..from grade 1 till grade 12 naba ang school bago makagraduate ng secondary?
