A real insider?
This comment was posted a couple of days ago at this entry, which I posted a few days before the 2004 national elections.
True.
Not only do I work for the government, I work in the same office where the presidency sits.
There is a lot of hypocrisy in this government (and maybe others as well, but that’s another matter) and had been extremely disappointed that Arroyo “won” the elections.
Geeesh. Government, or rather, the people’s money and resources was used to ensure that she would win the 2004 elections. We were desperately hoping that she would make the difficult changes we need once she gets back into power but in the end, she only proved to be what she had always been like before - another politiian in the guise of reforming the goverment but never has the guts to do so.
- Peluka
Whether or not Peluka really works in the Office of the President, I express belief in the same doubts and disappointments. Six long years more… And we’re not even sure if it’ll all end with just another presidential election.
