Vilma Santos ended her speech during last Monday’s Gawad Plaridel 2005 ceremony at the Cine Adarna with these famous lines from her movie Sister Stella L., “Kung hindi tayo ang kikilos, sino ang kikilos? Kung hindi ngayon, kailan pa?”

Hi Victor Si Karl ito (Tinig ng Plaridel, Film 102). Ganda ng blog mo Anyway, yung statement na “Kung hindi tayo, sino? Kung hindi ngayon, kailan?” ay galing sa mga akda ni Abraham Sarmiento, Jr. (I have to double-check that name, meron sa Kule archives niyan). Editor-in-Chief siya noong Martial Law. Dinakip siya, at dahil marami siyang karamdaman, he died in captivity. Ayun.
