On engineering and cheat walking
Why the hell did I enlist myself in Engineering Science 10!? Hindi talaga kami magkaibigan ng Physics (since a lot of our ES 10 lessons right now are spill-overs from high school physics). I’d rather torture myself memorizing biological terms for biology than have to analyze forces and mechanics. I’d rather analyze literature or socio-political issues than compute for net forces or drawing free body diagrams. Fine, madali lang ang mga ‘yan theoretically. It’s really just not my thing at all.
We had our first ES 10 exams this afternoon. I didn’t expect the questions to be that torturous. Akala ko, since this is the first time ES 10 is offered as a general education elective, madali lang and exam since most students taking the subject are non-Engineering students. Pero hindi. Haay… sana kaya ko pa ring mag-CS (college scholar lister) ngayong semestre.
I was walking along the academic oval on my way home from Engineering when I came across a group of students walking for their walking for fitness PE class. There came a moment when one of them turned left behind Quezon Hall to shortcut his way out of walking the entire academic oval. Not long after, his classmates who were behind him followed suit. Then the people in front of him noticed what they did and followed. Gee. I don’t get why they had to cheat, it’s just a PE class. I could tell their PE instructor, pero naisip ko ‘wag na lang. Mandaraya rin naman daw ako eh. Pati naman instructor nila mandaraya din. ‘Di ba, hahat naman tayo nandadaya, wala tayong karapatang manghusga sa iba pang mandaraya. Kaya, mandaya tayong lahat ‘di ba? Yehey!
