I was at Corregidor island yesterday for the Geography 1 field trip. It’s my first time there. Corregidor was like one giant World War 2 island theme park. (Well, it is a World War 2 theme park). We took an hour-long ferry ride from some port terminal at CCP to get to the island. When we got there, we boarded tranvias which took us around the island into the different ruins, battery sites and memorials.

There wasn’t much of a tourist crowd at Corregidor that day. Most of the visitors in the island were college students on field trips.

I was with my blockmates/orgmates Eka, Leo, Tia and Kevin the whole time in Corregidor. In the afternoon, after the island tour, we were given two hours of free time to have lunch and whatever we wanted to do in two hours. It’s a good thing I brought my own lunch. The food in Corregidor is expensive. The guys who didn’t bring lunch had no choice but to buy a very ordinary packed lunch for a hundred pesos.

After eating, we went to the beach. I took my shoes off and frolicked in the shore. Bad trip lang dahil nawalan ng battery ang camera ko half-way into the trip.

Sorry for the lack of cohesiveness in my entry. Napagod ako sa paggawa ng photo scrapbook collage. Haha.
