Still not okay.

There are many things about me and going on with me which I don’t post in my blog. Reading my entries may give you the impression that everything’s fine or, that I’m always happy. That’s not true. I’ve long recognized the fact that some people will inevitably make assumptions and their own interpretations of things based on what I write here. And it’s not their fault. Talagang gano’n. That’s fine with me. I guess that’s how I conciously package my online self.

… I just… I don’t know… Things aren’t always fine and dandy with me. There are times I disgust myself when I read my blog. :(

I’m not okay.

Attended the 2nd Piling Obrang Vidyo (POV) interschool video competition by UP Cinema yesterday. Astig! Congratulations to Cinema for the successful event. Anyway, I liked the entry from Miriam (Anong Petsa Na?) and from Ateneo (Bulong Mo Sa Dilim). Of course, I liked UP’s own entry the most, Ate Alina and Lyn Punay’s Pirouette, which swept all the awards except for Best Screenplay and Audience Choice (which was won by Anong Petsa Na?).

After POV, some of us had dinner at some place in Teacher’s Village then the off we went to Brent’s place with the CASTpers for Marella’s inuman blow-out.

The Philippines is still at the top of the medal tally of The 23rd Southeast Asian Games with 53 gold medals. Wow! We just keep raking them in.

It’s just sad that the Thai Prime Minister insinuated some speculations that the games are being manipulated in favor of the Philippines. I guess he’s just being bitter because Thailand, a traditional SEA Games powerhouse, is just third in the medal standing, trailing behind the Philippines and Vietnam. It’s just silly. How the hell can you rig game results? Especially those that are measured… like Athletics events?

Ayeen, Kim, Kid and I went to San Juan Gymnasium this morning to watch some SEA Games fencing events. Primarily because we were required to watch the fencing events, but of course we also went there to support our national team. Hehe.

Unlike the Rizal Memorial Sports Center stadium, the San Juan Gym was fully airconditioned. It would have been a pleasure to watch the fencers, it’s just that suddenly hoards of noisy grade school kids arrived. There were hundreds of of them annoying children who watched the games. I think their teachers were not in the mood to teach them anything today so they herded all the brats off to the school gymnasium. It’s all right if they just watched, but they were running around the gymnasium and were screaming like… kids. Plus, some of them were cheering for Thailand in an RP-Thailand game! Those brats should be flunked!! Haha.
