I am really itching to buy myself a digital SLR. But that would mean drying up my entire savings account. Auggh, but that’s something I’m really at the brink of doing just to quench this technolust!!

canon 5D na kunin mo….o yong mas mura 350D na lang or kung gusto mo nikon D70…
STOOOOOP!!! it’s never a good idea to dry up your savings for something which is not a life-or-death situation. a dslr is a good buy, but do wait for the right time when you don’t have to spend more than 30% of your savings. just my 2 cents…
well, he’s a student and is supported by parents. unless he can buy a house and lot or a car with that savings,i would pull him away from the photo store.

Promise, Bikoy, if I win the NY Lottery, I will get you one after I get one for myself.. LOL My own view on this: the digital type is fancy and techy, but it will be outmoded in a year or two. If you get the non-digital SLR, then you can dress it up and get accessories as the years go by. If I win, as I said, you get one!
same here bikoy. cannon 10D is super okey. but it is really not practical kahit film student tayo. digital fotography is not in our curriculum. still. *sigh* i know pipz ho own digi slrs but they are already fotojournalists/pro fotografrs.again *sigh*
