Couldn’t put myself away for long

Bikoy in a pa-drama pose

I’ve fixed things up. The situation is better now. I’m back to blog. Couldn’t put almost six years of blogging to an end just like that.

I’ve also created a secret/private blog, because personal/private blog entries are still inevitable. I feel more focused now. Para hindi naman ma-apektuhan ‘tong bikoy.net whenever something of a personal crisis comes up.

See you around

I need to go on a blog hiatus. I have to fix things up. Sigh.

Yes, if there’s one thing I lament with this blog’s apparent “popularity” is that it restricts me from writing a lot of personal things. There are a lot of things I can’t say, reveal, admit, in this blog. So when things come up with my personal life that’d affect how I blog… I’d have to keep visitors like you hanging clueless.

Haay. I can’t believe myself sometimes. I’ll be back.

Puerto Galera a second time (III)

The morning of the next day, we went to Coral Cove, still near/part of Sinandigan, Puerto Galera.

down to Coral Cove

Alam nila ‘yon ‘Di na nila alam

Like you, I was a little disappointed when we didn’t place in the Mr. & Ms. UP competition, even if we said we shouldn’t expect anything. But if there’s one thing I’m grateful for the event, it’s that it gave me the chance to get to be closer and more intimate with you. We practiced, and during that night I was able to hug you and hold your hand for quite a time, for the first time. Belated happy birthday Ms. Broadcast Representative and MPRT (Media & Public Relations Team) director. Here’s to more pleasant endeavors in the CMC (College of Mass Communication) student council and in MCO (Mass Communicators Organization)! :)

Friend testimonials

Yes, I’ve created a new category for blog entries called, Friend Testimonials. This is where I’m going to publish testimonials for my friends, which I’ll most probably write down and publish on their birthdays. These are testimonials similar to those we write for our friends in Friendster. Only, I will try to make these tesimonials more substantial since they’re going to be more public. I don’t promise to write one for every one. Huhu. I wish I could, and I will try.

Erik, habulin pero torpe

Got to chat with Erik last night. He was asking how was I, since he apparently met with some of our high school classmates and they were wondering how I was doing.

Admittedly, I’ve lost touch with my high school classmates, even Erik who’s also in UP like me. We rarely see each other nowadays, ever since I got too immersed in Mass Comm, and him in Econ. I actually miss his company. There’s this pleasant feeling of nostalgia every time I look back at our freshmen days, first semester. We were the only O-boys who went to UP. Everyone else stayed in Ateneo, a few went to UST. We weren’t very close back in high school, but we eventually had to stick together once we entered UP. Lost freshmen we were. We were classmates in two subjects and during our spare time we would wander all around our new school. Anyway, this goes to say that I’m sorry for losing touch. I hope I could spend time with you and the other O-boys sometime. Belated happy birthday!

(I realize this creates a precedent for me to write special entries about friends who have birthdays. Wahh, I wish I could do it every time, but I really won’t able to. This serves as a disclaimer.)
