I need my sleep

It amazes me how fellow college students can pull off all-nighters in order to cram stuff for school. I attempted to pull one tonight and for the nth time, I’ve failed. I’m too weak to fight sleep. Turuan niyo ‘kong magpuyat! I’ve wasted enough time sleeping.

    I wish I knew how to work that area out. Either I’m wasting my time sleeping or I’m just plain wasting time. What is this word productivity?

    put some ice on ur feet. that’s what i do when i have exams.. always worked for me. ;)

    i drink a lot of coffee and try not to eat a lot. kasi pag maraming nakain, inaantok ako. tapos maligo ka lang if u feel like sleeping. it works all the time to me.

    any of the three works for me but number 1 is the best.

    #1 espresso
    #2 any other type of coffee
    #3 extra joss (malaks sipa nito!)
    #4 coke (feeling ko na immune na ako dito lately)

    ito lang secret ko pag naka night shift ako. at naka pang gabi duty ko for the last 3months already eheheh

    know what time in the wee hours of the morning you are you the sleepiest. once you’ve surpassed that period, you’re already successful in keeping yourself up. in order not to fall asleep during that critical time, walk around the house, stretch, watch a bit of tv, splash some cold water on your face, smoke(*) if you have to.

    i can pull of all nighters when its NOT for school. but when i have to study, i find myself fast asleep.

    CELENI: amen to that. productivity + me = NOT happening.

    my probl;em is… i w mow wake up at one… and i cannot go to sleep anymore… so i try listening to asia agcaoli’s “stories” at magic 89.9…

    Ha. Coffee is essentially not a wake-’upper’ because it’s a CNS stimulant but a stomachacher. If you drink lots of coffee, it’ll just piss your stomach off with too much water gargling. Hence, your eyes are kept widely open.

    If all else fails, practice makes perfect.

    Mag-drugs ka na lang.

    i don’t recommend coffee. laxative yun, alamo ba? bka mgka diarrhea ka pa habang exams mo(if it’s for that). if you want, apples are better stimulants.

    aaron, yeah, ice works. you should try it.

    eric, i heard extra joss had a law suit filed against them for side effects? (memory loss, i think..). you should stop using it. but it tastes good, though, huh?.. parang mountain dew..ehehe..plus the memory loss thingy..

    try eating foods with sugar. may sugar rush then sleep kagad.

    try coke. di ako nakakatulog pag uminom ako ng coke 2 hours before sleep time.

    Hm… In a way, those who abuse cofee (caffeine)and coke (cocaine) for an overnight work can be called as drug-dependents. Eh di mas maganda, wag ka na lang kaya mag-cram!… mas maganda pa labas ng trabaho mu. :D
