benj: i hope. but i wouldnt be too sure though. yan din ang buong akala ko noong 2004. people shouldn’t underestimate how far money, bureaucratic machinery, and effective PR spins, can go.
we were not able to register because they didn’t give out any forms anymore, which was weird. ayaw daw kasi nila madagdagan ang trabaho nila for the last year of 2006. what an attitude. although i don’t blame them. kaso talagang ampangit ng system nila. kaya i’m hoping for an extension.
@charleslemark - no, actually i was more willing to register on an earlier time had i was informed. it’s not really good to assume that just because we’re filipinos, we’re used to “practicing” such stuff. syempre meron ding mga pilipino na maraming inaasikaso. hindi lahat na-inform nang maayos. hindi dahil eleksyon na next year eh iaassume nila na people would just go by themselves.
To be honest, you had the longest time to register. I mean, its a responsibility right? Hmmm, it just feels like you are even blaming GLoria for you not being able to vote… haha
|I agree with Benj… now that I am (HAHA) a registered voter I am thinking of siding with the administration. I would rather vote them than Jinggoy or not to vote at all.
It’s just weird na sinisi nila kami. Eh hindi naman kasi namin alam kung pano ang proseso eh. Wala mang na-promulgate na kung ano. Ni yung website nila hindi updated. :p
you’ll have the rest of your life to exercise your right to suffrage. this election will almost surely trump GMA - just like the US Midterm elections.

quezon city district 2 registration sucks big time. are we on the same district?
The problem with Filipinos, including me, we’re used to practice “last-minute rush”. I hope this serves a lesson to everybody who reads this blog.
Add that to the fact that the government agencies/employees do not want any work on the last day of the year.
Ako rin. It’s frustrating that I wouldn’t be able to vote in the upcoming elections. I agree with your response to Benj, Bikoy.
We have not been properly informed about it. Sinisisi pa ng districts ang ibang barangay officials for not announcing it earlier.

i voted for gma in 2004 and i still think i made the right choice assuming that not voting was not a valid option.

gahd. just because people are saying they weren’t able to register doesn’t necessarily mean they’re blaming gloria. naman!

i made it to the registration, but all I’ve got is a piece of paper. they say that the ids would take long… very long. the process sucks. x_X
tsk tsk tsk
