The highway is mine!

Our internet connection’s been as slow as hell the past days following the strong earthquake off Taiwan. Nakakawalang-gana mag-internet ‘pag hindi ka sanay na naghihintay nang matagal para mag-load ang kahit anong website. This is one of the reasons why I haven’t updated the past few days. I haven’t been online a lot, actually.
We spent New Year’s in Sta. Maria, Bulacan. I actually spent the entire day of New Year’s eve at our grocery store. December 31 is always the strongest day of the year in terms of sales and customer traffic so I had to help out once in a while.
The changing of the year came by quickly for me. After media noche, we closed the store and then we headed back to our Quezon City home. I drove the car home. It felt so liberating driving through empty North Luzon Expressway at 150 kph during the first hour of the year.
Happy first day of the year! Start it right. Oh, do visit my movie commentaries blog!

happy new year.
i hate new year’s eve. maingay.
ang gulo masyado sa probinsya - all hell breaks lose.
The only things I hate about New Year’s Eve are the eardrum-pounding kinds of firecrackers. But everything else is positively invigorating.
And yes, pareho tayo dun sa internet issue. Google na nga lang, antagal pa magload.
150kph is over the limit, isn’t it? You lawbreaker!
Happy New Year to you. I’m celebrating on Feb 18th. :-p
What the heck, tell me who didn’t broke a law. Sa Pinas pa?
Cruising at 150? C’mon you can do better than that, unless your car give up , hehe.
Happy New Year.
