It doesn’t end here
I’ve been feeling quite disoriented and lost the past few days after losing the elections. I’m not depressed, really. I just never realized how lost it would make me feel.
See, for the past three years, I’ve gotten myself very busy with org work and student council activities. First year pa lang, I joined two organizations in Mass Comm and immersed myself in org life. The next year, I became an officer in both orgs. The next year, I got myself into the college’s student council. Now, I feel lost in a college I’m so attached to. I don’t know what to do now. I’m unsure what role I’ll play. I know there will be things in store for me. Perhaps I just didn’t prepare myself well enough about the prospect of losing that’s why I’m currently disoriented. Perhaps it’s time for me to go back to my orgs and my friends whom I’ve missed very much, and/or get myself busy with non-election STAND-UP work, and/or simply immerse myself in academic stuff and go home after my classes (LOL). I don’t know. Come what may.
By the way, I honestly wasn’t expecting the flood of comments my past two blog entries have been receiving. I’m very thankful for my friends and blog readers who’ve showed me how much they care. Naiiyak ako hindi dahil masakit sa akin matalo, pero nata-touch ako sa mga pinagsasabi n’yo from the night the election results came out. Mahal ko kayo.
GO ON! move on!
… and WE love you too bikoy!
Okay lang ‘yan Vic. Graduating ka na di ba? Sa susunod di mo na mamamalayan busy ka na ulit. See you next year!
ayan, may bago ng blog entry. at hindi puro comments lang. hehe.
marami pa tayong pagsasamahan, kamon!
at mahal ka din namin bikoy.
simply immerse myself in academic stuff and go home after my classes (LOL)
really now? glad to see your better. hang in there.
Hehe… =P
God Bless!
you may feel a little lost right now, but i’m sure you’re going to find your way back home.
simply immerse myself in academic stuff and go home after my classes (LOL).
Think of it as a blessing in disguise (comments, este, losing). Not just for acads (hello, thesis year?) but also for non-Student Council opportunities. You now have time to be a … star! Cheka lang.
Good luck for the Blog Awards too. It’s nice to hear that you’re doing fine.
Bikoy, you need not feel lost. You can still do the things you used to do kahit wala ka sa SC. Personal life, acads, tapings…and still serve the students/people.
A lot of people are here to back you up — and I’m one of them. Saludo ako sayo.
[...] First, I would like to congratulate Implement Project’s bassist Bojit Herrera for winning as University Student Council Chairperson. Good luck in your new job and here’s to hoping that you will serve your fellow students well. On the other hand Bikoy picks up the pieces after coming up short in his own campaign to become his college council’s top post. Fortunately, he’s doing fine. [...]
wow thanks to trackbacks that grammatical error will stick! haha. sorry about that. hehe.
Nabasa mo na ba yung chat box mo… basahin mo bilis!
Just keep your head up…
ei bikoy! marami tayong gagawin sa mco!
mco loves you
just like what i told you on ym, having 263 people who believed in you is a huge deal - fine 262 coz you probably voted for yourself.
It’s nice that you’ve picked yourself up quite well. Good luck.
