For two days last week, instead of taking two jeepney rides and the MRT to my internship, I took un-airconditioned buses that go straight to Ayala from Quezon City.
It saves me ten pesos one-way, and some distance of walking. Nevermind the heat, and the smoke and dust of EDSA.

the most unforgettable experience on riding ordinary buses in EDSA was this: i found a male discharge underneath the seat of where should i sit. ‘di na ako umupo ‘nun. i remained standing. total, malapit lang naman ako.
i think the male in front of you is an engineering student. may staedtler na tube pa o.
Well ten pesos was a big deal… back in the Marcos Era. hehe
Dont you get student discount? just hand the conductor your ID when he asks you where you’re going.
ingatz lang pow sa ordinary bus. maraming modus operandi jan. mga mandurukot etc.
it’s NOT really that bad riding an ordinary bus.. i honestly prefer that over AC buses.. at least you don’t get this “kulob” feeling.
You’re not afraid to use your cam inside the ‘open’ bus?
careful with ordinary buses. a lot of things are happening in there. i last rode an ordinary bus when i was heading to Cubao from Novaliches, passing by C-5, a couple of guys were actually sniffing marijuana behind me. since then, it’s bye bye ordinary bus…
ako nga nahipuan na sa isang ordinary bus eh… katakot talaga!
waw.. 10php a day.. mlaki na un.. 310php/month masesave!!
hehe..
