I’m going to die next sem
A few days ago, I passed by the UP College of Law to submit my transcript of records and my certificate of graduation as part of my enrollment process. Before I left the college secretary’s office, I was handed a contract of sorts which I apparently had to sign. It was a contract that requires me to take 12 additional undergraduate units in English and Social Sciences within the year, else I won’t be able to continue as a law student.
There hasn’t been a shortage of warnings, ‘horror stories’, and tips from brods and friends who are present law students. For weeks now, I’ve psyched myself up to brace for the academic shock that is to come. See, I came from a course that’s not as heavy on readings as other courses, which is why I may not be as used to reading and studying for three or more hours a day as other incoming law freshmen. Just thinking about having to take 12 additional units aside from the usual academic load of a law freshman, plus my student council work as head chief information officer, bothers me. I don’t think I would have time for anything else for the next ten months!
It looks like I hadn’t said goodbye to having classes in Palma Hall, after all.

Condolences. Haha joke lang ;p really? so I don’t have to take all those units in my undergrad pala. I don’t have Econ units and I still lack a few English units. Good luck!
Waw waw. Congrats po. At good luck. Hehe. Sana ako rin, makapasa ng LAE. LOL.
Well, can’t relate, my major was prescribed curriculum.
I have around 21 (including GEs) English units nga, I wish I could give them out. =P So Philo/Psych/Socio/Pol Sci dapat ako magkaka-deficiency, but luckily, exempted kami from the required course quotas. Yay Econ!
Anyway, if you want to lighten up your load, can’t you transfer to the evening programme?
Waaah. Parang angweird lang siguro ng feeling na graduate ka na and all pero magtetake ka pa ng mg GE courses, ganyan. Hahaha. Kaya mo yan!
Buti pa sa med walang required units. hehe
Ouch. That must hurt.
anong block mo?!
