A short trip to and a massage at Nurture Spa in Tagaytay was just what I needed in the midst of all the stressful activities I’ve been getting myself into. A satisfying lunch of leafy salad and tandoori chicken was just perfect to cap it off before heading back to Diliman for a student council meeting.
I’m not a spa person. Regular trips to a decent spa is not something ordinary students like me could afford. But this was a treat, and I couldn’t pass it off.
The place can prove to be quite a long drive away from Manila. And that is what probably sets it apart from the posh spas in the city. Clients can also stay over for the night, the weekend, or even for a week tucked in the hills of Tagaytay. They have improvised and refurbished Banaue Ifugao huts for accommodations, aside from the usual air-conditioned rooms and pavilions.
I took home some samples of Nurture Spa’s aromatherapy and massage oils too. Great! Anything to relieve the stress, please!
